Update on Project Italy

As many readers know, I do not think how we live in America today is remotely normal, and I have decided to relocate to Italy. (Don’t worry, I’m not abandoning America. I can write and vote and support causes from Italy.).

I wanted to provide a quick update on where things stand, as curious readers often ask me about it. As warned, the process has been slow. But we now have a closing date in May for the six acres of farmland in the southern Italian region of Puglia on which my husband and I put a down payment.

It’s really happening.
