Update on ‘Project Italy’
The biggest thing happening for me right now is that I am now a landowner in Italy! My husband and I finally closed on the property in southern Italy on which we made an offer (which was immediately accepted) in November last year.
If you are new to this story, I wrote in November 2023 about some of the things that led me to want to leave the United States and about the property we fell in love with in Puglia. Now, the journey I have been dreaming of is officially under way.
I am both thrilled and kind of scared out of my mind about what lies ahead.
